Radiology

The diagnosis includes the medical history, physical examination, laboratory, application of imaging techniques such as X-rays, or slice diagnostics such as CT and MRI. If the findings are not sufficient to determine an exact diagnosis, further medical examinations are usually necessary to confirm the diagnosis.

Some diseases are only characterized by nonspecific symptoms. In these cases, the number of possible diagnoses is becoming increasingly limited until there is sufficient basis for deciding on a particular exclusion diagnosis or at least one particular therapeutic procedure.

"Comprehensive diagnostics is essential for a clear diagnosis"

Diagnostic radiology is a branch of the field of radiology and deals mainly with the imaging of the human body and individual body parts for the purpose of diagnostics, therapies and therapy monitoring. The different radiological imaging provides an objective basis for the diagnosis of a possible disease.
In our Diagnostic Radiology department, we have modern cross-sectional imaging and digital X-ray diagnostics. The focus is on diseases of the spine and joints as well as diseases of the chest and abdomen, tumors and sports injuries.
